What if my percolator is missing a glass top, lid, basket, or stem?
If your percolator is missing a part, please check the packaging as the glass top is sometimes placed inside the coffee basket. If it is missing, contact support@coletticoffee.com or call (866)798-4492 with your shipping address and order details. We will send a replacement immediately.
I lost my percolator’s basket, lid, or stem. Can I get a replacement?
Unfortunately, we do not sell these inner parts separately. However, you may find replacement parts available on eBay or similar marketplaces.
How do I prevent grounds from getting into my coffee?
Ensure your percolator is perking at a steady pace rather than boiling too aggressively. Use coarsely ground coffee and consider using wraparound filters like those from Melitta if you are using finely ground coffee.
What should I do if my basket and lid are stuck inside the percolator?
Try filling the percolator halfway with water and bringing it to a boil. Then let it sit until it cools slightly and carefully attempt to remove the basket using a potholder. If this does not work, contact us for assistance.
How do I clean my percolator?
Our percolators are dishwasher safe, but regular hand washing with warm water is usually sufficient. For deep cleaning, use a mixture of baking soda and vinegar to remove any buildup.
What should I do if my glass top is too small or too large?
If your glass top does not fit, please contact support@coletticoffee.com or call (866)798-4492 to get your replacement, provide your address and order number. If you have an older percolator (pre-2019), the new tops may not fit. In this case, we will send a new percolator instead.
