Occasionally, our products are packaged too quickly after manufacturing, leading to carbon buildup that may appear as rust. This can be cleaned off with baking soda and vinegar during your initial wash. If you believe the marks indicate a defect, we will gladly send a replacement. If your percolator is missing a part, please check the packaging as the glass top is sometimes placed inside the coffee basket. If it is missing, contact support@coletticoffee.com or call (866)798-4492 with your shipping address and order details. We will send a replacement immediately.

Unfortunately, we do not sell these inner parts separately. However, you may find replacement parts available on eBay or similar marketplaces.

Ensure your percolator is perking at a steady pace rather than boiling too aggressively. Use coarsely ground coffee and consider using wraparound filters like those from Melitta if you are using finely ground coffee.

Try filling the percolator halfway with water and bringing it to a boil. Then let it sit until it cools slightly and carefully attempt to remove the basket using a potholder. If this does not work, contact us for assistance.

Our percolators are dishwasher safe, but regular hand washing with warm water is usually sufficient. For deep cleaning, use a mixture of baking soda and vinegar to remove any buildup.
