About us

WE BELIEVE:

  • Coffee facilitates the memories your family waits all year to make
  • You should be able to make great coffee anywhere
  • Great coffee facilitates great memories
  • Coffee should be free of plastic and toxins
  • Vintage designs aren't old; they're proven. We don't reinvent the wheel; we just make it out of better materials.

PILLARS OF EXCELLENCE:

  1. NO PLASTIC, NO ALUMINUM: For 50 years, durability was traded for "cheap." We’re trading back. COLETTI gear is built so your coffee only ever touches glass and steel
  2. TALK TO A HUMAN: In this age of AI chatbots and automated customer service loops, if you have a problem you can call us and get an English speaking American to help.
  3. HERITAGE ENGINEERING: We understand the value of legacy designs and refuse to abandon  classic concepts.

FOUNDER STORY

In 2015, while serving as an Active Duty Chaplain in the US Army, Josh Gilliam felt a call to "Excel in the Grace of Giving." He envisioned a company that could fund global missions while providing families with the rugged tools they needed to enjoy the outdoors.

Josh is a West Point graduate (2000) and a retired Chaplain (Lieutenant Colonel) with five deployments under his belt. His career spanned from serving as an Infantry Ranger Platoon Leader in the 1st Ranger Battalion (Iraq) to serving as a Chaplain in the 10th Special Forces Group (Afganistan). He’s a Ranger, a Combat Diver, and a Jumpmaster, but his most important role is at home.

Josh and his wife Katie (a US Naval Academy graduate) have been married since 2002. Together, they are raising 10 children on their 40-acre homestead in Volcano, California. COLETTI is a family-run endeavor, built on the same values of discipline, faith, and quality that they pour into their daily lives.

MISSION BEYOND COFFEE

COLETTI’s ultimate purpose is to "Excel in the Grace of Giving." We believe that human flourishing is tied to the freedoms of speech, press, and religion. To support this, 10% of all profits are donated to providing access to Christianity in regions where it is often misunderstood or restricted. When you buy a percolator, you aren’t just buying gear; you’re supporting the global championing of human and spiritual liberty. Josh tells the story here:
